We are pleased to welcome you to the New England Resident Service Coordinator’s website.

NERSC, Inc. is committed to expanding and enhancing the profession of Service Coordination throughout New England. Through education and training, our Annual Conference provides an opportunity for Resident Service Coordinators and other property management professionals to come together, share valuable ideas and experience, and stay in tune with the latest trends in serving residents in affordable housing.

2008 has been an exciting year for our professional organization. Held in North Conway, NH in early May, the NERSC 10^th Annual Conference offered many excellent workshops, events, and networking opportunities. Feedback from conference participants was very positive, and attendance continues to grow each year.

NERSC Board of Directors elections took place in May. We said goodbye to our 2-term President, Lynn Lippitt, and thanked her heartily for the many valuable contributions she made to the organization. Thankfully, Lynn will remain on the Board. We also welcomed several new Board members (see Board of Directors).

As the new President of NERSC, I sincerely look forward to leading the six New England states in providing excellent education for Service Coordinators, and to further advancing the profession of Service Coordination in housing.

As we prepare for the 2009 NERSC Annual Conference, we have a new Conference Planner on board. We welcome Andrea Baranyai, with Oh Buoy Productions, and look forward to working with her this year. http://www.ohbuoyproductions.vpweb.com/.

The 11^th Annual NERSC conference, Reflections on Service & Community, is scheduled for April 29 through May 1, 2009, at the Hilton in Burlington, Vermont. We hope you will join us for another outstanding education and networking experience!

We look forward to gathering in Vermont to reflect on the beauty of Lake Champlain, as we continue to reflect on our exciting career path and refine our skills as Resident Service Coordinators. The NERSC Conference Planning Committee already has many exciting plans underway for 2009.
