OBJECTIVES OF SERVICE COORDINATION
- To promote lease education and develop tenancy stabilization/preservation methods.
- To develop a comprehensive array of programs and services that address the present and potential future needs of the resident population.
- To address aging in place issues and the associated physical, mental, emotional, and social consequences for residents.
- To assist families in overcoming barriers to self-sufficiency through linkages with community resources related to education, job training/readiness, financial planning, childcare, and healthcare.
- To target activities that enhance quality of life, increase socialization and interaction among residents, and promote independence and self-sufficiency.
- To ensure residents are meaningfully involved in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services intended for their benefit.
