2009 Testimonials

Here's what attendees and presenters are saying about the 2009 NERSC, Inc. Conference:

I really enjoyed the NERSC conference last week. All of the workshops I attended were great. I gained new knowledge and new insights on how to deal with issues here at Coes. Thank you as President of NERSC and the entire board for such a wonderful well planned, professional conference. ~~Cheryl

Thank you for the Roundtable notes. Great follow-up and greatly appreciated. The Roundtable was handled very nicely and was positive and productive. Thank you! It can be done!! Hats off to you and your fellow Vermonters for hosting an exceptionally enjoyable conference. Every detailed shined through. Great speakers, positive roundtable, fun entertainment, perfect venue, delicious menu, informative training sessions and a very warm welcome. Be sure to share my compliments with everyone. My best-

I am still churning over in my head the impact Marlon’s keynote had on me. Like many, his poetry and message was emotional and caused us to rethink the simplest of human courtesies. He was the highlight of the many wonderful sessions at the conference for me and his message will stay with me for a lifetime.

Hi Sam,
Thank you so much. That was so very thoughtful of you. I really love the waterfront picture, that could be a postcard. You are always so much fun. I know we all appreciate that you take the time and effort to record all the special moments at the conference. It takes a special eye, great personality, patience and talent to do it just right. I look froward to seeing you in Connecticut,
Take care and have a lovely day,
Amber Hutton

This was only my second conference however, I truly enjoyed the very organized and upbeat tone of this year's conference. Many thanks,

I got my CEU's yesterday. You are simply great. I greatly enjoyed the conference in Burlington and have heard only positive feedback from others who attended. In the workshop Linda and I did on Thursday we needed to break down into smaller discussion groups which was a little difficult
the way the room was set up with the tables and chairs. The hotel staff were very cooperative in working out a plan and rearranging the room so we could have our small groups.

I just wanted to send you my comments regarding the conference in Vermont.  It was absolutely the best conference yet - I have been to 3 so far - There was such positive energy throughout the entire 4 days.  The volunteers were wonderful.  We were treated with such respect and kindess.  The workshops were great - the speakers amazing.  The entire conference far exceeded my expectations.  Also, I fell in love with Burlington.  I plan to visit there again soon.  Take care, enjoy the summer. Fondly,
Pauline Dinatale

I was a scholarship recipient at this year's conference in Vermont.  It was the best one I've ever attended.  Wonderful workshops!  Stress Management was well done with lots of ideas to implement.  Decluttering . . . I've attended several of these presentations.  This one made sense and the handouts are really helpful.  Medicines & Aging . . . extremely enlightening and insightful  I loved both keynote speakers.  Marlon Carey should be the MA poet laureate and Gary Bailey was so inclusive in his presentation . . . it was a privilege to be there and hear these wise and thoughtful men.  For the first time this year, I had a massage . . . why did I wait so long?
