Two-Part Webinar with Loretta Marino Sanford

Wednesday, September 30th & October 7th, 2020, 1:00 - 2:30 pm EST ONLY $35 for both, 3 Continuing Education Units

De-escalation is a complex task which requires keen awareness, analysis, and implementation in a matter of seconds for any given scenario. This workshop is designed to discuss the research around aggressive behaviors and where and when we might or might not have influence to de-escalate a situation. We will explore the skills and tools that we can build to make critical  choices on the methods for de-escalation with the safest outcome for all. This is a two-part webinar. Please make sure to attend both sessions for credit.

Loretta Sanford is a Safety Training Professional with more than 35 years of experience in providing knowledge, skills, tools, and resources to help communities improve and maintain safety.  She has provided workshops on a variety of topics for NERSC and its members for more than 10 years. She is a Certified Workplace Violence Prevention Specialist as well as,  the founder and registered LEGO user group (RLUG) Ambassador for UNLEASH, United Network of LEGO Enthusiasts at Senior Housing.
