About the event

This session is designed to bring a broader perspective to the concept of conflict and conflict resolution. Using a model that provides various modes of conflict, each participant will be encouraged to consider an actual conflict-based situation during the session to allow opportunity to explore various approaches for handling the situation. 

Learning Objectives: 

1) Discuss the helpful and not-so-helpful role that conflict plays in organizations and on teams. 2) Explore the Thomas-Kilmann 'Model of Conflict Management' including the five basic modes of handling conflict. 3) Each participant will identify a specific example where conflict is present and explore how the options provided by this model might support progress toward resolution of the conflict.

Presenters: Stacie Watson and Alicia Davis Stacie Watson, CPC, is a Certified Professional Coach, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an owner/partner in Transformative Leadership Strategies, a firm that specializes in supporting management transformation through coaching and experiential learning.  Stacie brings three decades of experience supporting leaders in a behavioral health, Employee Assistance Programs, and medical health insurance organizations.  In her various roles, Stacie has been responsible for working with leaders and teams as they navigate significant change – focusing on issues such as organizational design, aligning culture, effective communication, and sustainable results.  She also works closely with organizations who wish to address and improve culture and employee engagement.   Alicia Davis, PCC, is a Professional Certified Coach, former CT Licensed Massage Therapist and owner/partner in the coaching firm Transformative Leadership Strategies. She brings over 30 years of leadership development experience in the fields of holistic healthcare, social services and behavioral health non-profits, insurance, engineering and corporate settings. She creates dynamic coaching and teambuilding experiences for leaders at all levels of an organization that address challenges such as organizational culture, team alignment, change management, communication and high stress. Alicia offers a unique Core Energy™ coaching approach to individuals, executives, teams and boards who are looking to achieve exceptional results.   

Certificates will be issued following completion of the feedback form/session test which will be sent to you following the webinar via email. Note - this is a NERSC CEU.  We have applied for MA-NASW CEUs. Payment, Cancellation  & Refunds:  All webinars require payment via credit card at the time of registration.  You will receive a confirmation and receipt.  If needed, then you can provide these to your organization for reimbursement. Attendees can cancel up until 2 days prior to the start of the webinar for a $30 refund.  The $5 cancellation fee is to cover event and credit card processing fees.
