Involved with NERSC since its inception, NERSC Board Member, Mary Weiss, is fondly remembered by colleagues and friends at NERSC.

 Mary died suddenly after returning home from the 2009 NERSC Conference and she is greatly missed.  

2020 NERSC Conference Scholarship Applications are NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED - Deadline to apply was 12/15/19.

Scholarship applicants will be notified by 1/15/20 via email regarding their status.

NERSC, Inc., together with the significant support of our scholarship sponsors, is pleased to provide full and partial scholarship opportunities to conference registrants. 

Please note that this year NERSC Inc. scholarship funds are available for the conference registration fee only.  All other fee-based activities, meals outside the conference, accommodations, and transportation are the responsibility of the applicant and/or their employer.

The number and the dollar amount of scholarships will be determined by the number of scholarship sponsorships we receive.

We recommend that you register for both the conference and the hotel as soon as possible.  Registration and hotel accommodations are slated to open mid-January and will sell out quickly. Scholarships cannot be honored once registration sells out.

Criteria:

 

1) Must have service coordination as part of the job responsibility.

 

2) Priority is given to:

     a)  Those who demonstrate the greatest need and

     b)  Are first time NERSC conference attendees;
     c)  Are first time scholarship applicants;
     d)  Have the greatest period of time between receipt of last scholarship.

NERSC, Inc. reserves the right to limit the number of applicants from any organization.  Number and dollar amount of scholarships will be determined by the number of scholarship sponsorships received.  Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted or reviewed.

Scholarship award announcements will be made via email by January 15, 2020.
