How many CEUs do I need each year?

First year RSCs are required to earn 36 hours of continuing educations units within their first year of employment focusing on the statutorily required HUD categories. We recommend tracking all of your trainings in your NERSC member journal located on your member profile, or in a way that best helps you to stay organized.

All other RSCs are required to earn 12 hours of continuing education units each year of employment.

If you are a licensed social worker, please refer to the National Association of Social Workers for the latest continuing education requirements.
