COVID-19 causes additional challenges for emergency preparedness due to social distancing, and health and safety considerations. We will hear from Jeff McKenna, an RSC how a community put their emergency plans into action following a recent damaging storm, that included vulnerable residents at his housing development/s. We will also hear from Meghan Manke, Emergency Management Director from the town of Newington, CT. Helpful resource materials will be shared.
