About the event

To report or not to report: APS, CPS, 911, Family (ADVANCED SESSION)

Presented by Erica Goldman, Personal Supports Interim Director in the Developmental Disability Division of Humanim Inc.

This is a 1.5-hour training session that will be hosted on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

Session Times: 12:00pm-1:30pm EST

Advanced resident services coordinators will take a deeper dive into incident reporting. Many resident services coordinators have had to file incident reports or make internal reports. Regardless of how many times they have had to decide whether to make a report or not, they can still be left wondering if they did the right thing. Reporting incidents to the required agency should not be taken lightly as there can be certain action items that take place after reporting for the resident or even you. Participants will further discuss the who, what, when, where, why and how. Participants will also take a closer look at site specific situations that they may have encountered while working at their respective property.
